Barry Bonds Breaks Record with God-given Talent

Breaking News! Barry Bond’s hits number 756.

This should be reason to celebrate except Barry’s image is mired by the general assumption that he’s used steroids to reach this Hall of Fame mark. Sadly many are celebrating this event, notably the media and the marketing machines that stand to benefit from his new found place in history. So go Bonds! It’s really a sad day only for the fact we celebrate.  

(And this pertains to politics in what way? Well, for one he’s being investigated for perjury by congress.)

Democrats Lack Backbone on Controversial Wiretap Bill

After all the protest and hand-wringing by Democrats in both the House and Senate, evidently the prospect of being viewed as weak on terrorism proved too great. 56 Democrats, (40 in the House, and 16 in the Senate), voted for the measure that allows the continued warrant-less wiretap policy.

Rest assured. It’s no longer a secret policy. We’ve all been warned.
