While Lastest News is Lead in Toys, More Kids Killed by a Different Sort of Lead
August 16, 2007
Turn on the news and you get a scare about the millions of toys that contain lead.
I’m not going to take a Rush Limbaugh position and endorse lead, but I’d like to turn attention back to the lead poisoning that kills far more children today - bullets. A child, between the age of 10 to 19, is more likely to suffer a gunshot wound then contract the measles. This is absurd. We have far more concerns than lead in our paint. Let’s get our attention back on real gun control measures.
