Anticipating General Petraeus Report on Iraq
August 28, 2007 by IrishSpacemonk
In anticipation of General Patraeus’ Report on Iraqi, due to Congress in the next couple of weeks, there’s early talk of what he’ll say. If you’re anti-war, you probably know he’s not going to help you’re cause. Of course the surge is working. And it would work even better with double the troops.
In fact, a complete displacement of Iraqis by US troops would guarantee success.
Unfortunately, because Iraqi casualties seem forgotten in talk of success, congress with no doubt loose their stomach to challenge the surge. Even Hilarious Hillary has started shifting to the other side. In Hillary Clinton’s words, “We can’t be fighting the last war. We have to keep preparing to fight the new war. We have to win.”
Let that sink in a bit.
Ok. I’m still trying to figure out what “new war” she was talking about.
Rove, could you please explain.
Ermmm… Both lines should be going down. I have been to Iraq twice.. Stupid ass Liberals.
The casualties of the Iraqis continue to rise 40 Pilgrims killed. Being for or against a war on civilians has nothing to do with being liberal or a right wing nationalist. It has to do with fighting a war for all the wrong reasons. We shouldn’t be in Iraq just to get out without egg on our face.
