Bush Lays Out the Foundation for Peace, One Body at a Time
March 25, 2008
Yesterday, Bush stated in an address, that the 4,000 deaths in Iraq have laid the foundation for peace.
The Blood Tag: 4,000 US dead. Nearly 30,000 US wounded.
The Treasure Tag: $500,000,000,000 USD and counting.
The Collateral Tag: 82,000 Iraqis and counting
That’s all I’m going to say.
The Purge Is Working Condi! Exclaims George Bush
September 5, 2007
“You mean, surge, Mr. President.”
“Ah, yeah, right, surge. Did I say purge?”
“It’s no big deal really.”
“Purge surge. Surge purge. That’s kinda gotta funny ring to it.”
“Just as long as you keep it straight when we get off the plane in Sydney.”
Ah yes. Why not start with a fictitious exchange between George W Bush and Condoleezza Rice?
For the next few months both sides of the isle are going to be parroting the Pres. “The surge is working. The surge is working.” Each one a bitty bit afraid of standing up for what’s really going on.
Well, I’d say, the purge is proving more effective than the surge. In the last month 1800 Iraqis were killed. In the month prior, over 1800 again. This doesn’t even consider the number of Iraqis displaced, estimated at close to 4 million. And how many Iraqi’s have we welcomed in our outstretched arms of patina. Yes, less than 200…
So of course, the surge-purge is working.
With Friends Like These, Who Needs Bush
August 27, 2007
With the US amping the pressure on Iraqi’s Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki, tensions in the relationship have started to show. Just last week, al-Maliki, indicated that he was able to find friends elsewhere. This came in response to a snub by President George Bush. And we all know where those friends lie. The comment was made while al-Maliki was visiting Syria, and comes at a time when Bush has already warned the Iraqi Prime Minister of his relationship with Iran’s President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
To top things off, al-Maliki is getting in a rift with a couple of US Senators, Levin and Clinton (Clinton’s the big surprise here - considering she’s the one that claims experience in watching her words). In a dig squarely directed at Clinton, al-Maliki alluded that Iraq was not just another one of their villages.
If all of this makes little sense, it’s because it doesn’t. The US can’t push democracy, and then, when it doesn’t work say, “Oops, we need a different form of government”. If the original election wasn’t a sham, then it’s valid, and it’s up to the Iraqis to sort out their own turf.
Ari Fleischer, Freedom’s Watch Spokesperson, Slimeballed
August 26, 2007

Watch the television ads that Ari Fleischer’s Freedom’s Watch doesn’t want you to see unless you reside in a wavering Republican strong hold. The fact that they plan to run these ads right before congress reconvenes to seriously address a withdrawal plan from Iraq only means one thing. They are desperate. The media is no longer showering praise and defending Bush supporters as they did back in 2002 (read Times’ Person of the Week on Ari - it’ll make you laugh).
Ari Fleischer reminds me of Leni Riefenstahl, except without any talent. He’s a propaganda tool for Bush and the NeoCons, and he’s as much responsible for disinformation than anyone in the White House. In fact, he probably left the White House in 2003 knowing he’d be able to create propaganda much more effectively in the private sector. And now four years later we have the pleasure of dealing with his face again, now without glasses.
If you want to see the real Ari Fleischer, watch this MSNBC HardBall interview, that inspired the Slimeballed Interview with Irishspacemonk.
Note: Today I spent a considerable about of time trying to put together my first animation. Many failures and many hours later mean I’m publishing this thing but I’m not really happy with it. I’m just hoping it’s like me first cartoon, and next time will be greatly improved.
U.S. Officials May Be Reconsidering Democracy in Iraq
August 23, 2007
Just when I’m thinking every idea has been sopped out of my brain, I read the news.
Today, CNN reported that US Officials are no longer considering democracy to be necessary in Iraq, and would be willing to have a leader (read US installed dictator) that would provide security and a functional government.
Now isn’t that starting to sounds a lot like the government before occupation?
BREAKING NEWS: Karl Rove to Leave the White House Trough
August 13, 2007
Today, Karl Rove announced plans to leave the White House at the end of August. Denying suggestions that it was to avoid legal scrutiny, he aims to spend time with family, teaching and writing a book. Just imagine, either “tell-all” or a policy manual from Rove - now wouldn’t that be a treasure of lies.
